I don't agree that being a Christian makes thinking about suicide wrong. Suicide is a horrible thing, but we shouldn't make it "sinful" to think about; instead, we should encourage people who think about suicide to talk to someone, not suppress their feelings for a long time, and not release their feeling in a self-harming way at the same time. I think everyone goes through a really dark period in their life regardless of religion and rather than hiding their feelings and being afraid to think of it because of "being a good Christian girl", they should let people on the outside know & seek help. Not be ashamed of it. I think religion handles suicidal thoughts the wrong way, it's sad, but it's not shameful/sinful. That just makes it worse.
I mean obviously she's saying it like two years later (which we have no right to say when she
should've said anything), but it's always good to hear someone who was really down picked themselves back up.
