Yeah that's why her last album came out in summer 2011 and Demis came out in Sept 2011 yet she released DEMI before Stars Dance so if your logic is that the reason Selena releases so fast is lack of work what does that say about Demi and other artists that release yearly on the dot?
Also she has stated numerous times that she's never been so hands on and involved in the process of making an album as she has with Stars Dance including working with producers and writing songs. If you actually listened to her live performances (her walmart soundcheck) it's clear she has tried to improve vocally.
To answer OP yes she is underrated.
um, her videos are NOT being played on disney. when was the last time you've actually watched disney channel? The only videos they're playing right now is Zendaya's replay (and R5's pass me by)
