Taylor clocks haters + anyone who comes for her dating life
In her interview with Glamour UK.
Quote:
"Well, the way it works, as I’ve learned recently, is if you reach a certain point in your career where things are going very well, public perception needs a ‘Yeah, but.’ Like, ‘Yeah, but she’s been on lots of dates apparently.’ ‘Yeah, but I hear she’s crazy.’ I think you’ll find it has a lot to do with being a woman. And I resent that. That there has to be some downside to your personality or lifestyle if you’re a woman and successful. But I’m not gonna say to my guy friends ‘No, I can’t go to lunch because people will say we’re dating.’ I just reject the idea. I have to change the way I live my life."
Quote:
"You know, I never read one hateful thing said about me by some 12 year old, so I got to live an actual life. And I’ve kept that mentality. Just because there’s a hurricane going on around you doesn’t mean you have to open the window and look at it"
The shade
When's she asked about her status as a role model
Quote:
"There's room for role models who make mistakes," she decides. "There's clearly room for role models who are made fun of at award shows, not that I necessarily enjoy being poked fun at! But that's going to happen to them too. Whether in a board meeting or in school or on Facebook, where they'll get humiliated publicly. And if I can say: 'Yeah, I've taken a few hits over the years and I'm still going, I'm still happy!', maybe that's an example. It's not just about standing on top of the mountain with the wind blowing in your hair, looking fabulous."
She also talks about the media writing stories about her "hating Bieber and other stuff like that. There's major clocking that goes around in the rest of the interview
She is right. This papparaazi, negative publicity is a dark side of fame. She cant really go hanging round with male friend because every tabloids post she is dating someone new.
I think you’ll find it has a lot to do with being a woman. And I represent that. That there has to be some downside to your personality or lifestyle if you're a woman and successful.

But she never read one hurtful comment before? I don't know about that. Didn't she write Mean because of her hurtful comments made? Not saying that she dives in looking for hateful comments, but I'm sure she's seen her fair share. She has to with Twitter unless someone pre screens her Twitter for her

She stopped reading comments about her (stopped Googling herself) after 2010 Grammy performance disaster.
