Iggy Azalea will no longer open for Beyonce when The Mrs. Carter Show rolls into New Zealand. She withdrew from the tour this morning (Septmber 27), cryptically tweeting: “I personally really wanted to come, but sometimes I don’t get to make the choices.” Her loss is 2009 Australian Idol winner Stan Walker‘s gain.
He could barely contain his excitement, jumping on Twitter to exclaim: “Opening 4 Beyonce… Praise God man.” The “Change Your Life” femcee is still joining the tour in Australia. Which will be a relief for hometown fans of the Aussie rap diva.
Well she'll still be opening for her on the Australian leg of the tour. It's so strange that her label did not want her on the New Zealand dates. They really need to do a better job managing her. She's always tweeting about and @'ing their Twitter account about something pertaining to how she's being managed and handled.
She's performing at the MOBO Awards and some other UK promo instead.
