I was going to say this in the "Should we able to dispute WPs?" thread, but it closed so....

The entire warning points system should be abolished IMO. WPs should be restricted to:

Insults towards other members
Circumventing the profanity censor
Discriminatory posts
File sharing
Duplicate accounts
Graphic posts without the warning tag
Spam

So basically everything that's already warnable, besides flamebait? (Nicknames and off-topic too I guess, but those often fall under flamebait or even spam)

Personally I think it's fun having the WP system in place for flamebait, most of the time It requires people to shade more cleverly and keeps the mindless/stale "dragging" contained in SYG.

You're actually allowed to have quotes of that nature in your signature (at least from what I've seen anyway). Unless it's extremely graphic, I don't think it's against the rules. Avi's and signatures are basically free-for-all's.
