I hope She is on the soundtrack, but I fear She may not be. I don't think it's common to cast musicians in movies and then put them on the soundtrack unless it's a musical. They'll probably want us to focus on Taylor as actress and a song would distract from that.

I really do want Her to do a song for it though.

They'll probably have more of a background story for Rosemary in the movie...

Filming starts in 10 days (Oct 7) in Cape Town!

I'm thinking all of Her scenes will occur in flashbacks since Her character is dead before the story actually begins. She won't share any screen time with Meryl, either. At least they'll do some promo appearances together. Maybe.

mmm I'm reading this review about Rosemary's character and it's not an easy thing, it's a complex character, with a lot of emotions.

If the film starts shooting in 10 days I guess it explains what she'll be doing with her month off. I suppose she'll be in SA next month and then on to Australia for her tour. Film roles like this - small, supporting roles - are about all she can take without taking time off from her music. And I think we're all glad she's not doing that. I approve of this.

I wonder if they were waiting to confirm the filming dates of this movie before Taylor announced more WW tour dates? And if this being finalised is why we're getting hints that international dates are coming soon?
