Except it's not always the smartest year end charts and awards based on sales because your sales will get split. For instance, Drake lost BMAs to Nicki this year because his first month of sales didn't count and she barely eeked past Kendrick during album cutoff.
It's smart to release singles in the beginning of the year when you are established and tour in the summer so that afterwards you can have a second wind later in the era.
For an artist with something to prove Oct/Nov/Dec
For an established artist that should get high year end charts, awards and looking out for their fans for summer smashes and summer tours.
Release singles in spring and go one from there.

A few of the guys are already across the street! The school is in denial that this is gonna happen, so they aren't speaking up about this. It's gonna take place 7th period which is the last period and we're currently in 6th period.
