Yeah, but not nearly as shocked by her need to accessorize with black people. Sure the performance was quite "out there" but we've seen that all on MTV before. As a black person who has spoken about this topic to other blacks, I am only speaking from my perspective. If you are ignorant towards racism and racial insensitivity then I can understand why it may not seem like a big issue (In no way do I mean
you, specifically). I don't see it being a big issue to mainstream anyways, why would the general public care about the exploitation of blacks?
