Marc Monster said it's a real picture of the statue.
I kept wondering why she wasn't doing album promo but then I realized it's 'cause she's not even done with the album. I assume once the album is turned in on Sunday, they will begin setting up album promo. I'd love for her to do a listening party thing like Katy so we can get some reviews, but she probably wont.

Metro magazine did a review of PRISM and basically all big magazines did also. gaga should do this with ARTPOP. I can see critics liking the album because of how diverse it is

Random thought but I feel like Aura changed a lot on the album but since the demo leaked she sang that version at the iTunes festival to throw us off????

I feel the intro will be cut :/ Which is a shame, I actually love it now. She'll probably add in another verse and polish it a bit.

I don't think the intro of Aura will be cut. The opening guitar sounds good as an album opener.

No, they're not. I guess you'd think that since you only pay attention to negativity.
I've read several positive, some from former non-fans or people who "didn't like BTW".

Anywhoooo:

However, nothing performed seemed to possess the instantaneous anthemic-ness of previous smashes 'Poker Face' or 'Bad Romance', with only lead single 'Applause' coming close. While it ended the show to a rapturous response, we were still left yearning for the 'Fame Monster' days of old.......Sure, her army of hardcore Little Monsters will lap it up, we just hope she doesn't alienate too many of her other fans in the process, else 'Applause' could be the highest charting hit she has for a while.

Stefani Germanotta has certainly mastered the art performance side and scored a series of great pop hits over the last four years but, on the evidence of seven new songs unveiled in the intimate space of the Roundhouse, she’s still some way off achieving the kind of integrated blend of music and ideas that you find in her hero, David Bowie.
She talks about striking out for musical freedom but, aside from the sheer ridiculousness of the aforementioned song Swine, her set sounds pretty much what you would expect to hear on any Radio One show – a mix of high-powered techno belters, erotic mid-tempo electropop numbers, chunky dubstep tracks featuring guest rappers and singalong power ballads with self-empowerment lyrics.

And yet the six new tracks with which she delivered ARTPOP, her third album, to the world, did little to shake the persona so embedded in pop culture. The thumping techno overlaid with swelling vocals remains a formula to which she clings, and upon which her chart bankability relies. Her ability as a singer is formidable, but musically, she is less inventive than her wardrobe would suggest........And yet, in spite of a mammoth collaborative effort, the result sounds just like everything else in the charts.

The songs, though, are another matter. The bravery of Gaga's music has always lagged far behind the risks she takes as a moving 3D final-year installation. This latest batch, previewing her forthcoming album, Artpop, is no exception. Perversely, the two most traditional songs stand out a mile: Applause, the self-referential out-and-out pop banger, and I Wanna Be With You, a belted ballad to her fans.
The rest is certainly varied. With no less than three guest rappers, Jewels and Drugs adopts the guest-list approach to songwriting favoured by hip-hop and R&B, to no obvious gain. Cumulatively, these songs are merely all right. Aura begins promisingly, with some Spanish guitar and a murder. Thereafter, the shock-and-awe digitals can't quite glue together a track of many contradictory segments.
Manicure finds Gaga embracing her inner Cher; it's catchy, but hardly the ear-popping tour de force that was Bad Romance. The title track, meanwhile, says what many critics of Gagaism have voiced. "My artpop could mean anything," sings Gaga, on a mid-tempo shrug of a song. This is not some bold statement about limitless creativity, it's an admission that Gaga's creative vision is rather too open-ended: mostly mouth, and – as her own splendid glutes go by yet again – a little scanty in the trouser department.

With Gaga’s confessionals occupying such a large chunk of the show, the unveiling of seven new songs from ‘Artpop’ almost felt like an afterthought.
'Jewels & Drugs' was perhaps the biggest leap forward, thanks to its head-nodding 'Harlem Shake'-styled trap beat and guest verses from rappers TI, Too Short and Twista (the latter two joining her onstage). 'Swine' began with some wonderful rock theatrics (in the vein of Queen or Bowie) but sadly didn’t sustain itself – descending into the same crunchy electro she's been peddling for years.
The kink-a-licious 'Sex Dreams' also failed to set the room on fire, despite boasting a killer chorus, but there were real highlights as well. 'Manicure' – a heavyweight power-pop stomper – has 'single' written all over it, while set-closer ‘Applause’ went down a storm.
Our hunch is that ‘Artpop’ might not be the great leap forward Gaga’s been promising, but we’ll have to wait until November to know for sure.

Y'all don't even know how excited I am for G.U.Y. and I don't even care if it turns out to be a sh*tty song.

Can I just say that I love the iTunes songs, and am not looking at things negatively, but reading the reviews the next day, most were a bit underwhelmed with the songs.

Most of the iTunes reviews I've read were good regarding the performances but meh about the music. Which I disagree on, but hey. Applause got a lot of mixed-to-positive reviews, and the positive ones were not enthusiastic besides a minority.
Maybe you should take your stan glasses off every now and then. Not everything is always positive.
I do still think the album will be well-received, though.

They can even drag the hell out of ARTPOP for all that matter, but I wouldn't take those reviews too seriously. Let's wait for the final product.
It'll be her lower album on metacritic tho, I just can see it.

Yeah critics aren't that important after all but that's no reason for JUMPING at someone for stating an objective fact while answering a simple question.
Well, I struggle to imagine one of her albums below 70 on Metacritic but the media don't really seem to be on her side this time around so we'll see.

I mean the finished studio version. I really think the album versions will be completely different to Itunes Festival.

The album is done yet so I don't think anyone has heard final studio versions. In the next few weeks, maybe.
