I wonder if IU is going to slay everything with ha comeback.
Or if the public still remembers her eunhyuk issue
Her drama did really well (consistently came in 1st place with 25-30% ratings by the end ) so her album will probably smash too. Was the Eunhyuk scandal widely known among everyone or just the internet? Sometimes we see stars go as far as flashing their hairy clunge to the world via webcam and come back bigger than ever (with the highest selling single of the year)! Anything's possible
As fans know, YG previously announced that 2NE1 will release a new single every month starting in July until the new album release in October. However, September has come and is nearly gone.
In July, 2NE1 dropped the single "Falling in Love" to great reception of a new soung. In August, "Do You Love Me" released despite conflicts with the music video. But again, 2NE1 managed to deliver with a home-made video.
But this month, it seems perhaps 2NE1 and YG will go back to their old habits of broken promises and delaying new music.
And fans are none too happy about it:
"September is coming to an end soon and we didn't have a new single from 2NE1 like YG planned!" writes Prisha on Twitter.
"5 days to go before September ends but there's not even a little ray of hope for 2NE1's single. YG the best liar ever!" writes Darakrung.
"Damn you YG where the hell is 2NE1 single for this month? And don't you dare push back the release of their album next month." writes Jiyong Dara.
"I'm willing to forgive YG, once again, for not releasing a September single only if he doesn't delay 2NE1's album October release date." writes Evie.
One particular reason is that this month, CL and Dara have been seen posting numerous photos on Instagram of their trip to New York.
With a slew of photos showing the ladies partying with celebrities and enjoying Fashion Week, it doesn't seem like 2NE1 has been working on their new album or new single as of late.
If the album is already complete, then perhaps 2NE1 is enjoying a much-deserved vacation, but then the new single, presumably, should be ready for release.
During a recent interview with Examiner, CL remains steadfast that the new album will drop next month, but does not indicate any new single for this month.
"Right now, I'm working on 2NE1′s next album. It's dropping next month, so yeah, last minute work."
So what is behind this delay? And even worse, could 2NE1's new album be pushed back?
Despite Woollim Entertainment’s Statement saying that Infinite’s L is not dating Chocolate Girl, Kim Do Yeon, L’s fans are taking the recent dating rumors hard, even choosing to close their fansites for the time being.
On September 27, one of L’s most famous fansites, The Owner of Affection, put up a notice saying it will be taking a brief break.
The note read, “Rest. Since I ran only look forward, I will be taking a short break. Myung Soo, who wanted to become a bright shining star. To help you become a shining star, your fans had to be in even deeper darkness. Then you should have protected yourself with more care.”
Another fancafe called ‘Focus L’ also wrote a note saying, “That one moment when the star in the sky becomes a shooting star and falls down. Hope you take a moment to realize what kind of an existence you are.”
‘L’s Wings’ fancafe wrote “rest” and uploaded a short poem titled ‘Patience.’
The poem reads, “A man walking down the road stops and looks up to the sky. ‘Where am I headed off to right now?’ The sun that he can’t stare at answers, ‘I wish you had the courage to look straight at me.’”
One fancafe owner tweeted to L saying, “Look around you, Myung Soo. Figure out what is really special to you.”
