Easily. With Rih, it's like Jay is on stage with one of his best friends, with Bey, it's like he's on stage with the girl who happens to be on the same album as him. It's mostly because Rihanna comes across as someone you have a good time with moreso than Bey. No shade to Bey, she can perform like no one's business, but Rihanna has a different presence on stage and it's accurately reflected in how Jay reacts.
They're connected tho. They look amazed by Jay and Rih's stage presence. I don't see it with Bey and Jay. It really lacks something.
What are you using to compare the crowds? Ambient noise or cuts to the crowd? They both have huge crowds, its kind of hard to accurately say which crowd is more into it.
Also if we're comparing Run this Town to Forever Young, they are two different songs that will get different crowd reactions. Not to mention that one was a charting single and the other was an album track with an originally different singer on it.
