They're both artificially changing the color of your skin. What's the difference?

Who is everybody? They all have the same skin color. That's such a petty statement, IMO.

Lighting, makeup and a bit of Photoshop.

She's always been really light. Her skin tans occasionally, though.

It doesn't though. Beyoncé's always been a light-skin woman. No one's ever looked at her and said, "Wow, that's a fine piece of chocolate." Look at her pics as a little girl and she looks exactly the same. Kelly Rowland always been brown-skinned or dark-brown skinned. This is the pic of Kelly that they were talking about trying to prove she bleached. Am I the only one that realizes that a damn light is shining on her?

And I'm not saying she does. People don't realize black people TAN, wear MAKEUP, etc.

A white woman can walk down the block and get a tan (unless its with the tanning bed)

There's no natural way that a dark chick can get light.

But my point is that people willingly tan, just like people willingly bleach. I don't get why it's a big deal either way. I think it's silly to do either, but that's just me. I don't know why there's a witch hunt going on with people who may or may not bleach their skin with their own money.

It's sexy for a white woman to want to darken her skin, but disgusting for a black woman to want to lighten hers?
