Why Do Black Celebrities Get Skin Bleaching Rumors?
And it's not just the lightskins. It's black people in general. I just saw a conversation on Twitter where these girls were saying Kelly Rowland bleached her skin. LOL what? Do people not realize you're skin tone can look different depending on the lighting, the angle, etc.?
Out of all the skin bleaching jokes I can only name three individuals who I'm 99.9% sure did it...and two of them admitted it. Michael Jackson, Sammy Sosa, and that rapper Vybz Katrel.

Because for some reason people are fascinated by light skin black people. They are not bleaching but it's a certain type of light they put on them and even in pics they brighten the pics up.
Because people are ignorant and have yet to realize that black people come in all shades.
- So unless you look like tar they automatically assume you bleached.

People don't understand how different lighting works and seem oblivious to the fact that black people can also tan.
I wouldn't even care if Rih, Bey, or Kelly bleached their skin. It's only temporary and can get rid of acne/regular scars and even out your complexion. It's literally the same (fundamentally) thing as tanning...
