Rihanna's style, like Ciara's, is a carbon copy of Aaliyah's style in the late 90s. The whole concept of juxtaposing 'thug' and 'tomboy' with 'sweet' and 'girly' was done a good decade before "Umbrella" came out. A LOT of 'Urban' girls dress this way now - possibly because of Rihanna, but still, the style isn't originally hers.
Ya'll saying your fave is a fashion icon, but to be honest - it's not true.
I'm lucky cause my fave REALLY IS a fashion icon, who has a huge impact on people 15-25 in UK and WW.
He attends fashion weeks and is a critically acclaimed fashionist.
