Rihanna: mean girl, ratchet and bitchy???
Before you guys think i hate her or i sold her or gave up on her, lets be clear i stan for Rihanna the musician/artist/singer not the person.
So lets get into this topic. Rihanna used to be known to be the sweet next door girl who went bad in her first peak GGGB, but after her Loud era finished twitter started to show a side of Rih, starting feuds with her peers, making racial comments etc etc..
i can't help but wonder is this an act for what her current eras stand for (drugs, drinking, bout dat life etc etc ) which are TTT and U ? cause both of them are presenting her in light as if shes a hardcore rapper/gangster. Her closest friends say she's a sweetheart and a classy girl at heart but that doesn't show with this :
+ Her twitter feuds that most of them she starts.....(Teyona Taylor which i feel bad for her)
If shes not acting for her current era then, do you believe that shes really a mean girl ?
Note : keep this cute cause this thread is for Rihanna's good interests....

It's marketing and it works. If a popstar maintains her personality, she doesn't sell because people get bored with her.
No one knows what Rihanna is really like (aside from her closest friends and family).

It's so hard to see she's trying to look like a bad girl and bitchy just to cover all that incident from 2009?
She's not a bad girl, but she try to hide that „weak” image of her from the incident, and she doesn't handle it too good at times.

It's her, it's all her, only magnified.
If this really wasn't who she is she would never act like that.
I forgive her because she is 25 and it has been cute for these past years, but next era it has to go.
It won't be cute anymore.

It's a persona, she really isn't mess. If you look at her from 2005 - 2013 someone cannot change to two ends of the spectrum that quickly.

But a lot of popstars start out clean, because they have to build up there name and fanbase.
Once they have it they can act more like themselves.

I don't think it's an act at all. This is the person she is outside of the studio and just like every other person on earth, she's deeply flawed and has issues for days. It's really that simple.

First of all, if you don't support the artist you're so called "stanning" for as a person, then you're not a stan. That makes you a casual fan. And tbh I kind of think her whole "thug life" image is just a way to add to Rihanna, the persona. People are drawn to that bad bitch attitude she exudes. Robyn, the person, is sweet and actually very humble (though it may not seem like it at times lol).

I think she should be who she is or who she wants to be.
So far I haven't had a problem with her behavior but there is a time to stop, she's been having this attitude since 2011 and we're all ready to move on.
Also, I kinda agree with the 'internet thug' names and I hate it tbh.

I agree with you 100%. I think a lot of this "act" is in order to prove to the public that she is still strong after the whole Chris Brown thing, and I also feel like she thinks she has to keep up with other artists that are doing drugs and trying to develop this "badass" image. If Rihanna would stop with the acts and just make music, though, I feel like she could be even more successful than she is now... And I mean, we're talking one of the biggest stars in pop music right now. But if you look at someone like Adele or Queen Bey or P!nk, are they doing drugs? No. Are they trying to act like something they are not? No. Are they genuinely talented and are super successful for it? Yes.
