Oops... I always used to combine Hungary with the Ukraine, Russia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Latvia, pretty much anything in Eastern Europe.
So Hungarian is moreso like a Scandinavian language rather than the other languages of Eastern Europe.

Well your country used to be called Austria-Hungary but you already know the story of the Great War & all that. Thanks to every history teacher in my grades telling me that over & over.
