His life is tragic. He did get the most beatings out of his brothers too. I have a feeling that his dad tried to ''beat the gay away''. Michael has always been effeminate. Dude has been an obvious closet case his whole life imo. It's been speculated for years his song Human Nature is about coming to terms with sexuality. Reading the lyrics it sort of makes sense a bit.
