It's nice that people are applauding her comment, but people do the same thing right here on ATRL with anyone who isn't black or white or gay so let's not be hypocritical with the
emoticons.

First, "a person of color" includes Asians. It's a historically American term used for non-white people regardless of skin color. Plenty of Asians are dark-skinned anyway. Second, why did you include Asians in this anyway? Asians are always underrepresented in western media in proportion to their population percentages and there are never big complaints about it.
