Yeah, I definitely agree with Wendy on her point that Miley has been using these caricatures as "accessories". But whenever anybody says "Miley is trying to be black", it just leaves a bad taste.
I hate playing word games, but the correct way to say it IMO is to say Miley is trying to hard to be part of the urban music crowd.
