To be honest, I'm semi sad she isn't releasing. The Navy has been extremely spoiled with new music and this lull is kind of killing me. There's barely any competition out right now and her new lead single would have easily obliterated the current charts.

People have done this for tens and tens of years though.

It's nothing 'new', like, the Beatles had a period where they released 2 albums per year.

No. She just wants fresh new cool music out at all times. JT released TWO albums this year, was it cheating? Nicki released The Re-Up less than a year after PF:RR, was it cheating? One Direction has began yearly releases as well because they know that boy-bands don't last so they have to strike while the iron's hot. Are they cheating?
