a relationship isn't necessarily monogamous unless both sides agree to it being so. I don't see anything wrong with dating 2-3 people at the same time, especially if they know about it. And even if they don't, what's wrong with playing the field until you find the one you'll spend the rest of your life with?
Most relationships end up in breakup anyhow. Might as well multi-task and cycle through more at the same time to get to the final destination. Imo. And that's how most of my friends operate
