It's definitely not ideal to miss out on holiday sales. It's when people want to hear the classics, and all those fans buying it for themselves and for their relatives...
Would have meant that they'd have holiday sales, promo spots to get it out there in December, and then use the Grammys as a final push.
Alas.
I hope they do a string of concerts in the Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall etc. with full band. Film it, air it as a special and then release it as a DVD.
