Exactly, my cousins family in GDL was threatened to be kidnapped and their house was broken into because they wanted ransom. I also know someone whos relative was captured for ransom by gangsters, as much as people want to make mexico seem safe it really isnt, you have to be careful & anyone can be affected by this a lot of innocent people, you dont need to be involved necessarily in the gangs

This is why I will never buy drugs. I hope every American member here realizes that a lot of the illegal drugs you buy come from these sick douches. My sister and her family got held at gun point when she was living in Mexico. They told her they would've killed her if she wasn't visibly American.

It's on that news site, though I refuse to look up the video or even mention the actual name of that site. America needs to get their **** together and either legalize weed or actually crack down on the drugs coming from Mexico. You wouldn't believe how much they make daily just from us Americans.

Most of Mexico isn't that bad. It's mostly the small towns and the outskirts of tourist areas where business districts end that you have to worry about. There are tons of regular residential areas.

Yet, its still the biggest warning you get before traveling there. Being caught up in gang violence and kidnappings. Espically in the Northern States along the US border.
