Because the song is not that good IMO, and people overhyping "Royals"/Lorde isn't helping matters. Of course, it's just a matter of differing opinions.

The songs ok... But the bandwagoning is irritating
I like it better than last years one hit wonders tho (not saying she'll be one but yea)
