The coolest thing about singing "Yesterday" on the #Emmys is the sweet letter I got from @PaulMcCartney giving me his blessing to sing it!
She was flawless.
She's getting so much unnecessary hate. Like seriously, It seems like certain people tend to just hate every performance she does when they claim "they like her".
Like there's some people I wonder if they like any performances by her.
You are posting on a Carrie fan board, not sure what else anyone would expect. You would get that same reaction if it was posted on any other artist board.
I suspect the letter from Paul McCartney means more to her than any kind of social media negativity

"Hate" is always unnecessary. And any artist will undoubtedly get hate when they cover a Beatles song. She just wasn't very good with that song IMO. There's very few performances from her that I haven't liked. Most recently it's been the Idol performance of SYA (which is one of my fav Carrie songs) and now this one. Can't be flawless every time.

You're right. I liked the dress but not the acoustic Blown Away but TBC wasn't bad. The ACM's I don't even remember. I still love Carrie, I don't know why her live performances haven't been doing it for me lately.
