Never had anyone super close die to me so idk

So many death threads today...



I would feel sad if I died.

It's about if someone ELSE died.

No one close to me has died, which is a shame.

It's around me all the time, so now it's easier

Since my mom passed away when i was 9 and I couldn't cry because i was too young to understand death, I just can't cry for anyone else when they die. Even when my only grandma dies there wasn't a single teardrop. It's like my mother broke my reaction system.

I've had many family members die. Some close to me, some not so close.

My nephew (at 3 months old)
My great-grandfather (mom's side)
My grandmother (dad's side)
^ All within the span of one year between 02 and 03.
My cousin
My aunt (mom's side)
My aunt (dad's side)

Those are the only ones I can remember at the top of my head tbh. I've been to too many funerals. From the age of 8.

I have had several people close to me die. First it was my niece she was shaken to death. I attempted suicide it was the worst thing I went through at the time, then My grandfather hanged himself I had to cut him down from the tree. It hit me so hard I had to be sent to a mental hospital. After that I learned that I could not let it destroy me. I wanted to live so when both of my grandmothers passed away a week apart I just accepted it. I can't crash again I have a lot to live for and I can't let myself crash like that again I had a meltdown a few days ago I was on a path of destruction it's such a hard journey that i have to through to get to a state of mind where I'm at peice.

My friend passed away next to me in science class in 2011. I dunno, the whole couple of weeks after just seem like a blur to me, I was in shock for few days and couldn't feel anything but then the natural grieving process follows.

Wait he actually died in science class???

I usually cry a little, not long/much though, and then I don't know how to act so I start cracking jokes to make it easier to deal with

Yep it was the scariest things I think I've ever seen. He had a brain aneurism and fell off his chair. We thought he just fainted, then the teacher started performing CPR on him, and called an ambulance. Our year group had an assembly the next day and told us what happened, it was a complete shock to everyone
