Click the "Actions" button at the top of the thread and there should be an option in the dropdown that says "Add Poll"
That is, if you classified the thread as a "Poll" thread when you made it (opposed to Discussion, Base Thread, etc.). If not, you'll have edit the thread and select "Poll" from the dropdown next to the title, and THEN go into the "Actions" menu to add the poll.
