The first song already has me emotional. It's about how he feels like he failed to capitalize on his early success and he's coming to terms with being kind of anonymous, and how that's okay because he has a family now

Oh, he definitely delivered. This is undoubtedly his best record, yet...

I love the album from the first listen. My favorites are Oh! (those vocals, wonder if he can pull it off live), The Truth, Anybody Else, Doesn't Mean Goodbye, Imaginary Tea... I mean I love them all, this album is perfect!

I think Oh! is quite the hightlight.. love the smooth jazz feel to it.

Twai, I agree with what you said about 'Above the Radio'. I think Jon has definitely come to terms with his standing in the music biz.. but the important thing is staying connected to his fanbase and he did just that with the Pledge

iTunes/Amazon better get their $#!^ together next time... I'm sure the sales/charting results were messed up in the process 'cause people couldn't find the album on the day of the release. Took 3 days to correct it

Ps. I know "At Night" was played in one of his videos.. possibly in a preview. Does anyone remember? I can't find it!

I wasn't aware he had a new album out

I found a lot easier to get into than Promising Promises. That One-two punch of the first two tracks put me in the zone and I was cruising throughout. He did a good job with this album, the only thing is that I'm just waiting for my signed copy to arrive.
