Nick Carter says his drug use was so bad it screwed up his brain ... and he blames Paris Hilton.
Nick -- who just wrote a memoir, "Facing the Music and Living to Talk About it," -- says in 2003 - 2004, when they were together, Paris "fed my worst impulses as far as partying."
As for what kind of partying ... Nick says it was all about cocaine, ecstasy and HUGE amounts of vodka -- often a large bottle every night.
Nick -- who's been sober for the last 5 years -- says the ecstasy has screwed up his life. He believes the drug messed with his brain and that's why he's suffering serious bouts of depression.
Okay, but you're the one who chose to continually party with her. You weren't forced to do drugs and drink a bottle every night. Yeah, this might have been a case of peer-pressure and enabling, but at the end of the day, you're responsible for your actions.

This.
Though someone may have pressured you into doing drugs, you don't need to do it. It is still your decision. If he didn't like what Paris was doing he should have left her ass. Paris is wrong for asking him to do drugs but it was still his ultimate decision. He has only himself to blame for getting involved with her and doing drugs with her.
