There wasn't shade in Gagas but there is definitely shade in Adams. Adam's tweet is practically the textbook definition of shade - you sneakily say something insulting about another person without outright saying it or the persons name, you say enough that anyone 'in-the-know' can make the connection, but it looks innocent to others.
Saying she's an Art teacher rather than an artist implies she brings nothing new to the table, she's purely restating what other proper artists have done before her etc. Definitely shade.
That was weak shade. Gaga, you should have took out the Ariel .gif at the end.
