You have someone who performed at the Grammy's nearly a decade ago that won 5 grammys that night & performed with Prince. Who has also went on to perform with Tina effing Turner & won another 12 Grammys to her total...

Versus a very charismatic newcomer (compared to the other) who performed with Elton John at the Grammys and won a couple Grammys that night as well. Her story is yet to be told, we don't know if she will earn as much Grammys as Beyonce... (once again: the time span of their careers.)

Its unfair, just because 65% of Beyonce's most iconic moments were pre-Gaga doesn't mean Gaga has eclipsed her by any means.

****, there are people saying she can't even eclipse Katy Perry, right now in 2013. Lets not even go there....

ATRL just has to learn to accept that some entertainers are just ICONS in their own right,. There is NO "lessor gorl" here...

Beyoncé. She inspired Gaga. She said so herself. She would watch her videos and yearn for it to be her. Telephone/Videophone was a dream come true for her. I think she would say Honey B as well.

I think Beyonce has overall more 'iconic' career.

beyonce after 15 years ispires singers and talent and has done songs (both a solo and as DC) that actually REMAIN, and she is a real r&b icon.their careers can't be compared (let's see after 10 years what Gaga will have done , as SINGER),,,,and i'm saying this , not actually being a beyonce fan.
