After ten years, her song "Womanizer" almost debuted at #1 (it debuted prematurely due to advance airplay) and she had an album that's eligible for double platinum certification.

Have you seen X-Factor's numbers without her? And she had a 3x platinum hit this year already.

I believe Femme Fatale is platinum and has sold almost 800,000 copies. She's not doing that poorly, she's just on her eighth studio album and has been doing minimal promo for over a decade now.

217k doesn't seem so bad now, does it? I guess Will.I.Am was truly the selling force behind S&S. She should remix the song with him, maybe it'll do better.

With no promo spot in sight, I fear for the song's longevity. At least, "Applause" had performances to keep it afloat. The only saving grace seemingly for WB is an MV of Toxic proportions.

The horrible performance makes me wonder about the song's worldwide success. I know it was #1 in about 45-50 countries on the first day on iTunes.....but now....
