Taylor to start recording her new album in the coming weeks
Quote:
Swift will begin a tour of New Zealand and Australia in November. She also promised additional dates "in other parts of the world that we haven't yet announced the on-sale dates for."
Between those tours, Swift hopes to begin recording her follow-up to Red. "I'll be in the studio, figuring out what comes next," she said. "I really like to take two years to make a record, and I've been writing and doing stuff for the last year. This is kind of the year that it goes into overdrive, and it's all I think about and I become obsessive over it and I'm hard to talk to."
I hope she'll deliver another excellent album. Both Speak Now and Red are outstanding masterpieces especially with such songs as Haunted, All Too Well, Holy Ground, Red, Long Live and Enchanted. I know she'll pop out melodic tunes like We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together which is actually a solid pop song, but I hope she strays away from something like 22.
And I want a glimpse of another heavy ballad a la White Horse or Back To December. Sad Beautiful Tragic doesn't cut it.
