The 22-year-old singer was transformed from a short and spiky do, to a long-haired beauty when she visited the trendy Byron And Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills on Thursday.
Rita was in an excited mood as her DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris dropped her off in the car park.
The Radioactive singer, who wore an interesting pink and lavender patterned frock matched with white trainers, waved her beau away while smiling behind her tinted shades.
Then she went inside the beauty parlor with her platinum-tipped locks in a tangled mass and her face free of make-up.
A while later Rita emerged with long, gorgeous golden tresses courtesy of painstakingly applied hair extensions.
Rita's hair cascaded over her shoulders almost to the middle of her waist and there was garishly red lipstick on her mouth.
Holding her cell phone in one hand and her designer bag in the other, Rita no doubt was plannng to rejoin Calvin who had gone on to the gym while she got herself beautiful.
They were said to be going through some relationship issues last week after Calvin was seen standing close to a mystery woman.
But the couple pushed all speculation aside and showed that they are in fact still very much together on Wednesday when they headed to a music studio looking cosy.
