Mess. The Bug Pokemons peaked at Gen V and they all **** over the older bugs. And all those Pokemon, you listed... 
The only Gen IV that I'd consider to be flawless are Roserade and Honchkrow. I'd list some more but Gen IV is pretty forgettable, so...

But Armaldo, Heracross, YanMEGA, Forretress, Scyther etc are not Gen V
But I do agree that the bugs are nice for the most part.

I like the others as I've said some posts above. And it's true I like Bug/Electric and Bug/Fire, but that was mostly it tbh. Besides Galvantula isn't too viable because of it's stats. Only Volcarona was a major breakthrough for the type, and it's mostly because of Quiver Dance. Bug is a very underrated type lol.
I need Bug/Water, Bug/Ghost, Bug/Dragon and another Bug/Electric.

Yes, MOST of the Gen 5 bugs are great design-wise, imo. But I still love Yanmega better than every single one of them combined.
