Messs the worse is having your starting hand be all spell/traps I think nowadays you could save yourself with that kind of starting hand, but I wouldn't know much because I don't follow the game anymore.
This is true. Besides Kaiba's dragon deck, Mai her Harpies was actually a really good theme deck to duel with in real life. You can't say the same for Pegasus his Toons
