"Pretentious" Gaga has always been here. I don't understand why half, if not, all of you people act like this is new. She's always been like this since The Fame. Just look at some of her past interviews.

How is it embarrassing? If anything, it's proof she's like most people and she's never listened to Bionic and therefore doesn't care for aguilera or copying her concept or whatever
Didn't she say on GMA that she lives for the Applause that the fans gave her and thats what made her push through with The Born This Way Ball. Why is she repeating this again?
I really think these other stanbases on here are upset that their faves are either dead and don't care about them or their "art" or they can't sing or dance live. Or both.
It's HER business though. HER way to express herself. And in the end ya'll have to admit that she's unique, talented and full of passion for her work. In every single aspect.
