It's true though, people are stanning for the dumbest things. People act like a VEVO-record is some credible, prestigious award/accomplishment and it's not.

The iTunes thing is true too. While it's fun to poke fun at artist for not going number 1 on iTunes, smash hit songs mean nothing to an artists overall career, especially when it's always true that when you're a singles artist, you're only as good as your last single. It's the way they build their overall brand and how they earn the respect of the public that matters more than anything else.
