This is excellent news! A few year I think it was mentioned she would occasionally make singles, but had no plans to release an album again because she felt albums didn't sell any longer. Welcome back, Janet!!

I don't care how well it charts, as long as it's GOOD music.

I don't want this to be a generic, forgettable mess like 20 Y.O. or Discipline. I need something innovative like TVR, janet., or RN1814, but I don't think she'll do a concept album again. The closest we'll probably get is an album like All for You.

I wonder what direction she's going to take. I don't think she can get away with her Dance music on urban radio anymore. And dance music has moved way beyond the kind of dance music she used to make anyway. I can't see her doing modern R&B either though. Probably wouldn't work on urban stations anyway, and definitely not on pop.

I'm afraid she'll end up doing some synth/electro dance crap like "Make Me" (or worse.) She needs to bring some "When I Think of You" and "Miss You Much" type songs, else I probably won't be interested.
