Steph Meyer may write new Twilight books "when it dies down"
During the celebrations of Stephenie Meyer's Day in Forks, Washington, she was asked if she will ever write new Twilight books (which were originally titled Forks) and here was her answer:
Quote:
Marcia Bingham, customer service director for the Forks Chamber of Commerce, asked Meyer the same question that many visitors ask:
Will there be another book in the Twilight series?
Meyer said she left the series open and knows what happens next, but is hesitant to pen another book because of the negative press and Twilight “backlash.”
“If were to write it, I know that I would get creamed in the reviews and that it would just be a new wave of fresh hate,” Meyer said.
“So for me, that kind of puts me off of it.
“Maybe when it dies down.”
You know the hate got over-the-top when a writer is afraid to write a new book.

How about it sees the light of day and you don't buy it?
Drag ha.
I say if she already knows how she wants it to go, yet she knows that it'll create a bad "backlash", why not revisit the concept? I wouldn't write a book that I knew would be received negatively neither, tbh.
How about the good sis has an opinion without hating on the writer and the series? What the good sis is doing is basically why she's afraid to write another book.
