Pharrell has been doing his job all year and that is producing records. How are y'all going to say he is whoring himself out when he is just doing his job? He has to put food on his table just as much as Azealia does and he can't just stop everything he is doing to appear in a video and promote the song. I know he is a featured artist, but producers don't even promote songs...

Just because Pharrell did not want to appear in the video does not mean he stopped it from becoming a hit or placed a limit on the success it could have had. Everyone is quick to place the blame on someone else for faults of their own.

I don't blame Pharrell for not wanting to be associated with Azealia. She is a negative self-centered human being who is full of hate and dishes it out when life doesn't go her way.

Interscope just doesn't know what to do with her and they have never known. I think that it would be way better for her to change the label, to change her team and to have ppl around that actually take care of her career.

Both her and Pharrell should be ashamed of themselves. That track is a mess and it looks terrible when you compare it to her discography which quite frankly has been both forward thinking and flawless up to this moment.

Honestly at this point I would rather Azealia be marketed and have a career similar to MIA (except with actual release dates that are followed through). I don't need her to be the next Nicki, featured in every garbage track on earth, played constantly on urban radio or topping Billboard. Just give me solid releases with good videos, staying true to her her niche sound and let her true audience and fans eat it up.

If she by luck happens to have some insane hit come naturally (Paper Planes) then even better.

She saw the incredibly lukewarm response it got and now shes backtracking accompanied by her releasing Count Contessa which sounds like a straight up throwback to her unreleased demos everyone was getting into during 2012.
