Taylor Swift gave her fans quite the treat when uploaded a picture of the handwritten lyrics of 'Serenity' the singer's brand new single to her website. The lyrics are rumored to be about former flame John Mayer but Swift will neither confirm or deny this.

Christina and Tegan interview each other for MTV France
  
After their visit at NRJ radio, Christina and Tegan headed over to the MTV studios in Paris. They interviewed each other for a new show that is planned to premiere this week, which focuses on popular artists asking each other questions instead of a host. The video was also uploaded to mtv.com for fans worldwide to watch.
Christina: Hi Tegan! Ummm...so my first curiosity is how are you and Sara working amazing together and pulling amazing records? I mean like a team. Do you ever fight?
Tegan: Hi Christina! Well, yeah, we do fight. It's not as bad as it used to be, when we were teenagers we actually used to beat each other up and our mom send us to therapy when we were eighteen. But now we just have arguments sometimes, and then we get over it pretty quickly. We've been working together for a long time so we kinda know what the other thinks about certain things, we're pretty good at finding a compromise plus when we have to decide things about the band, we have to put out personal opinions aside and just figure out what is the best for both of us.
Now, my question for you is, since you're a solo artist - do you ever wish you were in a band, or could you imagine being part of one? Or are you happy doing this all by yourself?
Christina: Therapy  . Was it really that bad?  . To be honest with you, I do not imagine myself in a band because it would feel weird for me idk, but in the same time, it would be a great experience and maybe I could do it one day, but I don't think that it fits me.
Tegan, which is like your all time favorite song? And why?
Tegan: It wasn't really, our mom just took it a bit too seriously because she was worried. We only went there a handful of times, and every time we ended up screaming and cursing at each other and I think we really scared our therapist  She was probably glad when we decided we didn't need her and would just figure things out by ourselves.
And I feel you, it can be difficult being in a band and having to share everything, both the good and bad stuff. Personally I think you're great as a solo artist because your have a great stage presence and strong personality, which would probably be held down in a band.
My favorite song of all time.. that's so tough! I think.. hmmm.. yeah, I'ma have to go with Cyndi Lauper's Time After Time. You also grew up in the 80s so you know she was a huge pop icon back then, and there's something about this song that I've always loved, the way her voice is so strong here but still sounds hurt. It's a beautiful pop song and always gets me really emotional.
My next question for you is, is there any song out there from another artist that you wish you had written, that is was your song?
Christina: Miss Independent I don't even know. As now I am in love with this song, I wish I could've been singing it. It's called Simple Kind Of Life by No Doubt. Maybe some Kylie Minogue songs too 
Who is your biggest inspiration?
Tegan: Oh, I love that No Doubt song! They are amazing.
My biggest inspiration.. I'm not sure. I usually draw my inspiration from my personal life, from experiences I've made rather than people. But if I have to name a person, then I'd actually say Sara. We have a really great dynamic when we're working on a new album, we push each other to write the best songs we could, so in that aspect, she is my biggest inspiration because she always challenges me and suggests I write about this or create a song like that, things I've never done before and it's really inspiring.
What I always wanted to know, Christina, is how do you balance being in this business but also being a mom and taking care of your son? Isn't that incredibly tough?
Christina: Me and Max are together almost all time and I hired teachers for him in private so we could be together during tour. I bring him at the studio too so it is fine. It is tough a bit, but it does not matter.
Which artist who debuted in the 2010s do you like the most ?
Tegan: Aw, that's sweet. I know you like to keep him around, and you two are adorable together! I remember you brought him at the HRC Fundraiser and it was lovely meeting him, he's such a cute little fella. He takes after his mom 
That's another tough one, but probably Lana Del Rey. She's just amazing all over, I love how she has this strong visual aspect that accompanies her music. It's like she creates real art, you know? Her videos are phenomenal, it's so impressive and inspiring, too. It makes me feel like I want to create something wonderful as well.
Now, Christina, what was your most embarrassing moment on stage ever?

Is there any genre that you wish you could've done, but you didn't?
Tegan: I think it'd be funny to make a heavy metal record, or punk/hardcore. Just an album full of guitars and crazy screaming. Then we could have moshpits at our concerts and trash our guitars at the end of every show. It'd be hilarious.
This is something I've been wondering for a while: your performances are mainly known for your great vocals, but recently you've been doing more dance routines and adding visual aspects. Is that something you enjoy doing?
Christina: I really enjoy doing that! I want to put the whole idea of the songs and put all the elements featured in my lyrics there on stage. I just have to I want the fans to feel the whole thing.
Tegan, what would have you done if it wasn't the music?
Tegan: I'm not sure actually, I sometimes wonder about that too and I can never really imagine myself doing sometimes else. Sara would probably be a teacher, or a journalist, and I could really see her have a serious job like that. But I feel like I'd be bored with a regular job real quick. If I wasn't an artist, I'd probably still have something to do with music, like, band management or at a record label. Or I could have been a tour manager. I'm a virgo, so I always need everything to be organized. I'd be great at keeping my artists in check as a manager!
What are your favorite and least favorite things about being a celebrity?
Christina: My favorite things is that we can show our hard work. The worst thing is that fame can get you at times and that everyone wants something from you and stuff. It's just sad.
I hope this isn't too personal, but I was wondering, since your girlfriend is also your band's photographer, is it hard working with her sometimes?
Tegan: A lot of people think that, and I can definitely see why. It's kinda like how we get asked if it's difficult being in a band as siblings. But working with Lindsay is great, she fits in really well with our crew and team and when she photographs us, then work is our main focus and the rest doesn't matter. I also like having her on tour with us because it makes me feel a bit more like home, although at the same time it makes me feel sad for Sara because her girlfriend can't be on the road with us as much and I don't want her to feel lonely. But overall, we love working with Linds and if anything, the fact that I have a personal relationship with her helps us because it makes her pictures more meaningful.
