No, there's a huge difference in the costs involved between an actual album like My December and a soundtrack. Like I said there were no radio singles and most of the promotion came from the movie. Considering that A Woman's World did so much worse than even Christina's latest singles, any doubt who most consumers bought the album for, should be put to rest.
What's stupid and delusional is seeing Kelly as some profit tree after her losing so much money with MD lol. People look at the big picture and Kelly was only reliable for one huge album.
Who else was on RCA during that time? I'm not even saying she was the Top Earner overall specifically to 2010, because I haven't looked through a list of releases in those years, but one thing's for sure, it definitely was not Kelly. Pink and Britney didn't join RCA until 2012 either.

1) RCA put no money into My December and still got a platinum album out of it as well as a platinum selling single. Kelly recorded all her own songs, she wrote all of them, she paid for the studio time, Idol was the main means of promotion that her MANAGER booked, not the label. So what profit loss are you referring to?
2) Between 2004 to now, Kelly HAS been earning more for the label than Christina. You can check the time period for all their acts, she has the highest sales in both albums and singles despite what YOU think was a "flop".
3) To answer your question, during that time they also had Daughtry (2006 & 2010) & Adam Lambert (2009-ish?) signed on, both of whom outsold all the girls during that time period, but this poll is asking about the females.
4) I already said P!nk is the correct answer right now, but for the last 7-8 years, it was Kelly.
