Nope. Most of the other girls did though. Gaga's basically the only one that didn't. Except for Selena, I guess. But "Come & Get It" was still a massive radio hit, so it doesn't matter.

Applause had the worst release strategy I've ever seen. Her label should've waited until August 19th, and then I think it could've made it to #1. A week not on iTunes is okay & not really that damaging. The song not hitting #1 led a lot of people to judge it, despite the fact that it went up against one of the biggest digital debuts of all time, Roar.

But she does have to have a health sales total to be in contention I would say at least 450k or more, unless her streaming is really great, which is unlikely to happen. I would say she needs to have more than 500 overall chart points to hit #1. Katy and Miley are probably around the 480-500 overall points scale.

It's iTunes performance doesn't change the fact that is one of the most underwhelming lead singles of the year. She's capable of so much better. This isn't something she should become complacent with.

Katy 350,000 (sales) + 265,000-275,000 (airplay) + 225,000-250,000 (streaming) = 840,000-875,000

We'll see with Britney, I have a feeling her video's coming this week.

I hope not! It should be released next week unless they plan on doing some promo or a random commercial surfaces with WB in the background. Releasing the mv will only increase the chances of a front loaded crash. She betta wait till next Monday!

Sales for Miley and Katy are dropping. I can see 350-370K for Miley and 300-320 for Katy.
I can see Britney fighting for #3 on HOT 100 with Lorde at best
