The news of her single was widespread yesterday, but the release was very sudden so I feel like there's a lot of steam left for people just discovering it.

She's deff going #1, i think. How long will it last? idk
Eh, for me that doesn't impress me much. I never believed that she was a has been to begin with. Not that I expected her to break down the charts.
As far as Gaga goes (you may not have had this expectation) people expected her to do amazing and have huge numbers and yet she came off of an era where everybody said she ruined her brand, lost her digital power, alienated the general public, etc,.. So, I don't see why people continue to have these above the bar expectations for her but on the flipside want to act like Born This Way was a career-ending era.
I see Britney's performance to be equally impressive as Applause's, to be honest. I feel like both deserve better than they're going to get, however.
And people acted like Blackout was a career-ending era, yet Britney came back with Womanizer and blew the pop landscape out of the water. Meanwhile Gaga came back with... Applause... Britney proved people wrong, whereas Gaga still has a lot of proving to do.
I don't think she will go #1, Miley & Katy are really strong atm so idk
Both Kathy and Miley decreased in sales significantly in last 3-4 days.
Britney should pass Kathy at least. Roar now is now selling at barely 300K week rate. Miley are still above 350K, but video effect is more or less over now.
