The 5S loaded in 5 and a bit seconds. The S4 loaded in 13 seconds.

I wouldn't expect such a massive gap in loading times with devices released six months from each other

I'm so excited to get the 5S on Friday. I've had a 4 since August 2011 running iOS 7 and it's so slow I can't deal. It often takes upwards of 30 seconds to open music or Facebook.

True, but I had Asphalt 7 on my iPad 3 (which I sold) and it's nowhere near as fast as the 5S.
It's a shame I'm getting this instead.



I just hope it doesn't have long loading times.

Aspahlt 7 was released for both iOS & Android on the same day. It wasn't built for iOS and later added to the Play Store (like with Sonic Dash which is still yet to be released on Android).

It was built for both Android devices & iOS devices at launch.
