Chris's fall is HORRIBLE. Not even Britney's 2nd week was that bad and he was everywhere promoting!

He's gonna fall just as much as Britney in my opinion: 70-72%. But you have a point, his second week looks worse than Britney's 'cause he has a digital a hit, a airplay hit and lots of good performances on national TV.
Well, it's not Britney, bitch. lol

It's official, Celine FLOPPED. Sorry, but with that amount of promo even I could sell 200k albums.
Anywayz, take that, Shitgles, Alicia has the 2nd biggest debut of the year!

well, i personally don't think Rihanna would have sold much more if she had released different singles. considering that everyone here at ATRL seems to have a different opinion of what would have made better singles, proves that there is no obvious HUGE hit single after Umbrella to keep the album's sales alive. at most, i think GGGB would have sold 1.1 million by now if she had released Rehab because i think it would have the same effect on her sales the way Unfaithful did after SOS. but to be honest, this cd took some time to grow on me. it's a very solid album and it never lets up, but there's not really any highlights either like on the Dutchess (which pretty much is made up of half hit singles, half filler). To me, Rehab sounds too much like WGACA by JT and HTILY sounds too much like Irreplaceable. SUAD is a good song though and i thought it was a smart, energetic choice for a summer single, i don't really understand how anyone can call it a flop.

SUAD was a great song, but as a 2nd single no. Maybe to start off 2008 or something.

Oh and this also shows that it would've better if Brit kept her 11/13 release date. Hell she would've been #2, with the same standards of not promoting much, but the sales would've been into 320k at least.

first of all, PLEASE stop calling the Eagles that. you make yourself sound like an immature 10-year old. The Eagles are a great band and even if you don't care for them (I don't either), doesn't mean you shouldn't respect them. Chances are, they will have better longevity on the charts than A. Keys too. As for Celine, well her new album is boring and despite the name "Taking Chances", it pretty much sticks to the same formula she's used for the last 20 years. she's got a great voice, but her material is so dull her single was flopping until she performed it on the AMA's so i'm not surprised she only sold 200k. she's got a big fanbase though so she'll probably go platinum.

Yeah, and everybody would be 'happy', since we would be aware of the real deal 7 days earlier, instead of 2 hours.
