The US Release day is the 22nd and albums usually leak 6 days early so I'd say we'll have it by the 16th at the latest, and the 12th at the earliest. (Unless someone hacks Capitols computers or something...)
Teenage Dream leaked a week early, so I'm expecting the same for Prism.

idk, i don't think anyone could've been expecting something like that after the success she had of TD. i don't blame her. i think we still got it pretty good; the album may be electronic, but from what we've heard it's a step in a lyrically deeper direction. i'm very content with that!
comparably, let's say katy's Teenage Dream era = kelly's Breakaway era. they were both massive second album eras. kelly's third album was critically amazing, but it lost all her momentum and she didn't have a big hit for YEARS until Stronger (and none of the three singles after that were big either). not that commercial success is everything, but i can give katy another album or two before i want her to make the artistic, singer-songwriter, pop/alternative/indie/christian rock record i KNOW she can/should make. her voice is perfect.
I don't get why she just doesn't do an acoustic EP if she wants to so badly. She doesn't have to do a full album
I wish she'd done something similar to MTV Unplugged for Teenage Dream... like some of the songs off of it stripped down. Teenage Dream (the song) acoustic would have SLAYED.
