Both musically and success-wise this song got everything right. It will be remembered as one of the biggest hits from this decade and no pop girl is topping it any time soon.
I'm not exactly sure how people here measure vague terms like "memorable". Do you guys own a monitoring system that tracks people's level of song recall?

WFL didn't really set a standard IMO... it lasted a long time at the top of the charts but it's not really that memorable because it's so basic and repetitive... so it has already been surpassed IMO.
This song is so overrated, nothin special about it, just a song which followed the trend of songs with breakdown like Party Rock Anthem, Sexy And I Know It and The Time.
