After some weeks of laying low, Tegan Quin from Tegan and Sara has made it onto the headlines again, this time lashing out at a paparazzi who was asking an innocent question.
Spotted outside of BBC Radio 1 studios in London where she played a session and did an interview with none other than her newfound bff Christina Aguilera, the duo was leaving the building arm in arm towards a waiting limousine when a paparazzi approached Tegan after snapping a few pics of her.

Christina quickly slipped into the car but Tegan stopped, assuming the paparazzi wanted another pic or an autograph. Instead, he asked her what she thought about Christina's outburst when being interviewed for Glamour UK earlier this afternoon, and why she hadn't intervened or called out her friend's rudeness. (The article is up on the magazine's website and has already gained lots of comments with people criticizing both Christina and Tegan for their behavior.)
“What, you're trying to play me off against Christina? That's really lame”, she replied, trying to move past the guy but he blocked her way, persistent. “Why didn't you step in?” Tegan, visibly unhappy about the question, rolled her eyes and snapped, “Because I'm not her ****ing mother, she can say whatever she wants, she's allowed to have an opinion.”
The car then suddenly started moving, jerking to a halt again a few meters away when they noticed that Tegan wasn't inside yet. She tried to catch up with them, but was blocked by more paparazzi and had to stop again. “Tegan, where's Sara?”, another man shouted, and even more annoyed now, she simply flipped him off. As she had almost reached the car, another pap suddenly showed up next to her, asking, “Tegan, where's your girlfriend?” That's when she eventually lost all composure, glaring at him, “About to kick your ****ing ass if you don't move it!” and pushed him away with one swift motion from her elbow.
After that, she finally managed to get into the car and drove off.
Well, well, well, Miss Tegan, that was not very polite – or should we say Canadian – of you. Better learn to keep your temper if you wanna keep those middle-aged women and parents in your fanbase!
